Patola saree originally originated in the city of Patan in Gujarat is famous all over the globe. Also called Patakulla and Patolu, they have rich embroidery with intricate patterns and motifs and characterized by certain bright colours like Red, Orange, Yellow, Indigo, Blue and White. Patola sarees stand out because of their vibrant colours. There are 3 types of Patola sarees-Patan Patola, Banarsi Patola and Rajkot Patola. 

This Rajkot Patola saree is resist-dyed vertically and is masterly woven with engraved symmetrical floral pattern in square shape running all over it. It's intricate floral border and contrast pallu matched from medieval royal patterns attribute to it's splendour. One can style this saree with full-sleaved blouse and traditional jewellery. One can also style the saree with a belt or traditional potli(purse) to get the grand appeal. Suited for weddings, parties, corporate functions and festivals.
